November arrives as a door hinge, a portal between two seasons —
In some places, she is Winter, the trees’ already stripped bare of their leaves.
In others, she is Fall, a late color & bloom before the first freeze.
The temperatures in Santa Fe are both mild & cool, leading to layers thrown over lighter linen and remnants of Summer. At Homefrocks, this Fall is marked by knitwear & wool, with new
sweaters made from baby alpaca & yak blends. Colors like algodon, pyrite & tabac usher in an earthy tableau of color. Virgin wool is from the first shearing of a lamb, and we’ve mixed this beautiful, new fabric with cashmere for the softest of pieces.
